INGREDIENTS:
- 1 boneless beef chuck roast
- 1 can french onion soup
- 1 can beef consomme
- french or italian rolls
DIRECTIONS:
- Place roast in slow cooker, pour condensed soup and consomme over roast. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or till meat is tender.
- Remove roast and shred with fork. Serve on roll.
- Skim juices from slow cooker and serve as dipping sauce.
We like to use cheese, such as swiss on our sandwiches and sometimes add sauteed mushrooms.
Loved the French dip, more flavor than I expected.
